Tumour radiosensitivity

I am a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in the Tumour Radiosensitivity Group at the University of Oxford’s Department of Oncology.

My research integrates high-throughput functional screening with in vitro and in vivo models, patient samples, and clinical data to identify molecular determinants of tumour radiosensitivity and therapeutically exploitable vulnerabilities. My work has focused particularly on targeting DNA repair pathways, including Polθ-mediated repair, overcoming tumour hypoxia through mitochondrial inhibition, and using functional screening to identify new therapeutic targets and biomarkers and develop drugs for combination with radiotherapy.

Ultimately, my research seeks to translate our understanding of tumour radiosensitivity into new therapeutic strategies and biomarkers that can improve patient selection and treatment response.
